Good news Nicolas! Lotte and several other new features that make up the next version of Transifex 0.7 should be released fairly soon. Just yesterday a Release Candidate 2 was released, which means that either an Alpha or a final version will be released really soon. In the meantime, if you want to play with the latest code, I have a Transifex Appliance based on latest development code that gets updated fairly often that you could use, so just let me know.

Cheers,

Og

Fantastic new feature ... exactly what I was waiting for in order to migrate from Launchpad. Any idea when this will be rolled out to the transifex.net service?

Hi Andre', there are a few differences between these two systems, some technological, others a bit more fundamental in regards to being free and operating directly with upstream projects. I will focus on the later. Basically, Transifex works directly with the upstream project and all transactions are automatically applied to the upstream code line. There are also notifications for all transactions (such as those you get from Damned Lies) and the abiity to "lock" a file for translations... If anything, the fact that your work goes directly to upstream projects is a pretty good reason to use it! :)

Cheers,

Og
