  1. Daniel T Chen Says:

Yuck. I’ll take the capitol metro weather anyday.

  2. I can confirm that 27540 is just as nice.

I guess we should enjoy it while it lasts. It always seems coldest here in February/March.

  3. I can’t live w/o snow, that is the one thing I really hate out living in the south. Luckily when I move back to the DC area in the next few months, I can still have my snow.

On another note, it has been below freezing for the past couple of weeks, we have quite a bit of snow, and tonight we are in for yet another ice storm. I love this stuff! Time to break out the Arctic Cats!

  4. Atlanta is just as delightful as well :)

  5. I live in Boone, NC, and had thought about going skiing Saturday night after the great cold and snow last week….. of course, Saturday night was like 50F and rainy. Weather forecaster is just a difficult job in this state.

  6. That’s a nice reason to move to NC, but here‘s a reason to stay in Michigan.

Not to mention y’all get them lower-case “h” hurricanes, too.

  7. Not a fan of the heat at all. That is bad weather in my opinion. Been getting to be about -12 at night here in Maine. That is what I like.

  8. Freaks. :P

  9. Hi Og,
why use those primitive web interfaces when your friendly GNU system has a quick way to upload tons of pix! I use Ross Burton’s Flickr Uploader! Merry $HOLIDAY from NYC!

  10. Yo Kevin,

As a matter of fact I do… hehehe F-Spot also allows me to manage and export my pictures to Flickr.

Happy Holidays from Chapel Hill, NC, bud! :)

  11. Og,
It is warm and comfortable here but it is also parched and dry. We need some snow or rain or even ice, but we need some sort of precipitation to replenish the reservoirs. Either that or we need a lot of people to move away.
